Thanks to multiple planets’ worth of stolen kyber crystals, the station was more than capable of causing severe damage to both Jedha and Scarif, and completely obliterating Alderaan. The Death Star’s biggest claim to fame was its ability to use a concentrated laser blast to destroy an entire planet. In 9 BBY, the Death Star, an armored battle station whose superlaser would be capable of destroying entire worlds, was moved from Geonosis to Scarif to. The Death Star enters orbit above Scarif, where Tarkin uses another low-power shot to destroy the compromised base, killing Krennic, Cassian, and Jyn. When we first got images of the movie Rogue One back in 2016, I instantly fall in love with the one where Krennic stood inside the Overbridge in his imperial outfit looking directly into the camera. This scene was made in a collaboration between my fellow friend tz_machine, who brought this scene to life and me, who designed the Overbridge MOC itself.
